I'm in the very warm land of OZ now.
Staying at Steph and Stacey's for a few days. Visited Brisbane; got a glimpse at some rugby (have a Queensland Reds jersey), but I'm not posting any photos until I have a picture of a kangaroo.
I ate kangaroo steak for breakfast, it was... different. But I've yet to see a living one.
Tomorrow, ANZAC Day, the plan is to go to Surfer's Paradise (yep, that's the name of the city).
More to come in a couple of days.

Suis-je le seul ignare qui se demande ce que veut dire "OZ"?
ReplyDeleteIf you get to meet a live kangaroo, make sure you pinch your nose: they stink more than wolves in a zoo. That's according to my recollection of Expo '67: everybody could hardly wait to see the kangs at the Australian pavilion but nobody could stand their stench more than a few seconds! A lucky few, probably with clogged nostrils, got to see a hop or two.
Has the problem of the kangaroo's overpopulation been solved?
